Fydji is a suite of Open Source projects developed by Fylab and distributed under the terms of Open Source software licenses. They are mainly concerned with the development of Web applications and Web Services.
The suite is composed from libraries and frameworks that are commonly used in various projects realized by Fylab. They were offered to Open Source community in hope that they will be as useful as they were for us.
Fydji WS, Web Services publication framework, was the first to be published as part of Fydji suite. It still remains one of the core framework and is used in many of our development projects. We invite you to follow the Projects link in order to discover more on this framework and other Fydji projects.

Fydji WS framework documentation page has been updated. It includes references to documentation related to the recently published Fydji WS 2.0 release.
The documentation page includes the updated Fydji WS Quick Start guide. The complete Fydji WS implementation Java API documentation now is also available online.

The new version of Fydji WS Web Services publication framework was made available for public download. This is completely rewritten framework version whose goal was to improve Web Services publication performances and simplify services creation process, taking into account the experience acquired during previous versions development and usage.
This framework version now relies on Apache Axis2 Web Services publication engine, significantly improving Web Services execution performances. Web Services descriptions are simplified in order to make user include only necessary declarations. This version has better databases operations support achieved trough the implementation of specific adaptors for each particular target database. Fydji WS now also includes a new mapping to LDAP directories and LDAP search operations implementation. This version also provides a great number of improvements and bug fixes for Java, JavaScript and PHP clients.

Fydji.org site has been update. The new site is now backed by Joomla, a popular open source portal and content management system solution.
The site organization is a bit changed compared to the old Fydji.org site. We have included new open source projects developed by Fylab: Fydji Portal and Fydji Commons. Of course, Fydji WS project is also available.
Each project has now its own "space" on Fydji.org site where you may find all related informations: general presentation, versions references, download links, documentation, etc...
The site now also offers the possibility to subscribe to RSS feeds related to general site news and to particular project versions.
